About the role
Conduct Level 2 sanctions reviews of fiat and cryptocurrency customer and transaction alerts, investigate potential matches, determine case outcomes, and escalate or mitigate risks as appropriate. Support sanctions program oversight, regulatory reporting, policy and procedure development, business-unit guidance, special projects, and mentoring on crypto compliance workflows. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of sanctions experience at a financial institution or government agency, including practical on-chain investigations and blockchain analytics experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of OFAC and BSA/AML requirements, experience with screening tools and Chainalysis KYT and Reactor, and excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and mentoring skills; CAMS/CFE or crypto-related certification is preferred.
