About the role
Design and maintain global legal and compliance frameworks for Web3 products, including decentralized trading, wallets, and derivatives, while translating regulatory requirements into product and business controls. Assess DeFi and on-chain risks, implement AML/CFT and sanctions controls, and draft and negotiate commercial, partnership, and liquidity-related agreements. Requires an LL.M. or J.D. from a recognized law school and 8–10 years of legal and compliance experience, including at least three years in Web3 or a leading international law firm's Web3/FinTech practice; bar admission in the United States or a common-law jurisdiction is preferred. Candidates should understand smart-contract liability and custodial distinctions, and be familiar with US, EU, and other DeFi regulatory developments.
