Head of Compliance, Crypto

About the role

Build and own the company's compliance function, including its framework, sanctions screening, risk assessments, and regulatory policies. Manage blockchain analytics, transaction monitoring, vendors, advisors, and regulatory relationships while embedding controls into product and engineering workflows and extending coverage across crypto and fiat payments. Requires 8+ years of compliance experience, significant crypto or digital asset experience, strong knowledge of OFAC sanctions and on-chain compliance, and direct experience with non-custodial or self-custody infrastructure. Candidates should have hands-on experience with blockchain analytics and transaction monitoring, startup experience building compliance functions, a strong and consistent career history, and the ability to operate independently; US money transmission, MSB licensing, and fiat payment experience are bonuses.
